Hi Jay,
The Samuel Thompson I am looking for is buried in Frostburg Memorial Park.
His tombstone is marked 1834-1909. His wife's name was Sarah (possible
maiden name Park). I am descended through their son, William and first wife
Jennie Wilson. William (1865-1925) and Jennie's son Samuel (1888-1943) is my
grandfather. Samuel married Rose McMillen; they are both buried in Rose Hill
Cemetery.

Obviously, Samuel S. Thompson in the 1900 census is not the Thompson I was
looking for since the wife does not match. If you think there are other
connections please let me know, I'll be happy to share what I know.

Jane
