Connie,

William David South was my 1st cousin twice removed. I, too, just have
Lillie Viola, born 1865 and died Jan. 11, 1903 here in Hagerstown. William
was born May 12, 1856 in Funkstown, Washington County, MD and died Oct. 2,
1949 in Hagerstown. William worked for the Herald-Mail newspapers in
Hagerstown, was an avid baseball fan, liked to take daily long walks, and
loved to read. He went to the local library 2 to 3 times each week. I have
only three children listed: Nannie who married a ? Downin, Minerva, and Alice
Naomi, born 1895 and died Sept 12, 1899. I did not have a Charles but that
is a prevalent name in the SOUTH family.
