Hi list. New to the list and am searching for the following information. Would appreciate any help!

THOMAS GAIN (or variables of name) born MD 1801 and died August 1848- believe by all accounts MD) married a MARIA KROH (Mary Crow) b 1799 in Hanover, York Co. PA.
Searches in York Pa, and Frederick, Carroll, Harford, Baltimore counties have not shown any birth records, marriage records or death records for Thomas Gain. Believe the marriage may have taken place in Washington Co. Could anyone, if time permits, take a look please. There are children born from 1825 - 1836. Have Thomas Gain in the MD census of 1830 and 1840 and then he is deceased in 1848 before the 1850 census. Any help appreciated. Mary in Florida
