I'm hoping someone can help me. I've been trying, to no avail, to find a way to obtain a birth record for my grandfather. I seem to find a dead end no matter where I turn, and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

He was born in Sept,1876 in Hagerstown, MD. His name was Aloysius Lawrence REARDON. He was born to Daniel REARDON and Mary FALVEY. I know they were strict Irish Catholics, but, I don't know the church they belonged to. Daniel and Mary had seven children, all born in Hagerstown, but, I can't find any record of them (or a marriage record), other than a census in 1880, listing the births and places of the children.

Is there anyone in the Washington County area that would be willing to do a search locally for me? I don't know how much work it would entail, but I would be willing to pay someone for any expenses. I'm so frustrated about this and would be eternally grateful to a soul who wouldn't mind helping another researcher.
