The names Jacob and Ludwick Myers ring a bell in my search for the Binkley -
Petre families in Funkstown and Hagerstown. I believe that one or the other
purchased land from Ludwick Myers and I wondered at the time that I found that,
if that is where the first name of Ludwick Petrey came from. He was born 1765
and was the son of Jacob Petrey and Barbara Beall (Bell). Ludwick was the older
brother of Eva Petrey who married George Binkley in the Lower Antietam area
(Funkstown).
