Jim,
Was just reviewing all of my Washington County e-mails and my heart skipped
a beat when I saw yours. let me explain. I subscribe to Washington County
because of the names Payne and Long. I am also researching the name
peacock, but not in Washington County, they were in Baltimore City. What
I have is:
Laura Peacock born 1874 and died in Baltimore in 1924, she married John W
Smith in 1893 in Baltimore. One of their children was John Smith who
married Isabelle Lucille Kline. Isabelle's parents were Minnie Long and
Charles Kline who lived in Washington County. Minnie's parents were James
Long and Lydia Payne. Does any of this sound familiar. By the way Laura
Peacock's father was James Peacock.
