I am looking for information on the parentage of a William Poffenberger of
Sharpsburg, MD. He was born about 1834, died 1878. He married Catherine
Schamel (b. 1836 Tumbleton, MD). I have information of the generations
following him, I'm looking for the preceding ones. If anyone can help me,
