Ann, I have read most of the notes on Specks and see you keep info on all
Specks. I am also keeping facts on four lines of Specks back to the 1700's,
which may someday be connected. My first Speck is Martin Speck b. nov 15,
1789 in Md. He married Nancy Ann Spickler oct 12, 1810 of Pa. He died mar
24, 1852 and she died oct 21, 1858 both in Md. I have their 7 children and
many lines forward. Here is where the trail has gone cold. With hundreds of
Speck there is not one William so I was taken back with " Martin Speck, son
of William, b. Nov 15, 1789", on page 10 of Bible Records of Washington
County, MD. Do you have any facts around this Speck line? There is Six
generations of Miller so far. tom
