LARRY,
YOU APPEAR TO HAVE GOOD RESOURCES AND KNOWLEDGE ABOUT WASHINGTON CO. BASED
ON THE EMAIL TRAFFIC. COULD YOU HELP ME GET THROUGH MY CURRENT ROAD BLOCK. I
AM PLANNING A TRIP TO WASH. CO. LIBRARY NEXT THURSDAY AND FRIDAY FROM OHIO.
THE SPECK LINE I AM WORKING ON WERE IN WASH. CO. AND FRANKLIN CO. FROM 1790
TO 2002. MARTIN SPECK SR. 1789-1852 MARRIED NANCY ANN SPICKLER 10/12/1810.
SHE WAS FORM PA. 1790-1858. THEY ARE IN ROSE HILL CEM. HAGERSTOWN. I HAVE
THE LINE FORWARD TO MY WIFE. FROM THE "BIBLE RECORDS OF WASH. CO, MD.","
MARTIN SPECK, SON OF WILLIAM, b.NOV 15,1789". AFTER MONTHS OF LOOKING I HAVE
NOTHING. A "WILLIAM" IS NOT IN THE HUNDREDS OF SPECKS I HAVE RECORDS ON.
THIS "WILLIAM" IS NOT USED AGAIN. ANY IDEA WHERE TO START IN THE LIBRARY
NEXT WEEK? TOM

I have the FARROWS from the Williamsport and the ClearSpring volume. I have
not heard of any others. I guess my line did not list obits or burial info
as a rule. It is as if they just disappeared!

Teresa,
1. No, I didn't indicate that Funkstown is at the PA border. However,
Funkstown is just at the south edge of Hagerstown and only about 7 or 8
miles from the PA border to the north and about 12 or 13 miles to the WV
border to the south.
2. I looked through all of my books and found only one "Farr", and that
was in the Wash. Co. Marriages book.
Levi Farr married Mary Ann Saunders 4/9/1820
3. I have a Family Tree Maker CD #195, "Family History: Maryland
Genealogies and Marriages, 1634-1820." There are some Farr's on it.
FARR Ann, Eliza, Jane, John [2], John B., John Babtist, Leah, Mary [2]
and Priscilla
FARROW Charles, George, Isabella, Mary, Sarah and William [3]
I am assuming that you already have the Farrow's from the 7 Vol. cemetery
books.
