Hello, I wonder if the following might be in your family lineage...or you
might have any knowledge of:

"William Henry MAHANEY" / Mahoney / Mahony / O'Mahony / Mahone / O'Manny
William was born about 1767 Virginia, now Maryland...this information is
questionable with boundry changes.

William's father was also named William Henry and came from Ireland.
Approximate timeline, late 1700's. Time and
location isn't known at this time.

The family settled in Washington County, Lower Antietam / Boonsboro,
Maryland USA.

William married:

"Susannah SCHRÖEDER" / Schröder / Shrader / Schrader
Schröder: as spelled in Germany. Schröeder was spelled with an umlaut over
the "ö", which makes an "a" sound...i.e Schrader / Shrader

Susannah was born about 1780 Washington County, Maryland
Susannah's father Johann Heinrich, born about 1758, Germany

William and Susannah were married in Washington County, Maryland about 1798.
By 1820 William and Susannah had 9 son's, and 2 daughter's, 8 born in
Washington County, Maryland, 3 born in Fayette & Bedford Counties
Pennsylvania

William and Susannah are my 3rd great-grandparents.

Any thoughts, assistance or information regarding the surname MAHANEY or any
variation I would be deeply grateful for and would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
