I know you wanted William's other wives but if the following is your man
he was still married to Margaret in the 1880 Census:

1880 Census - Clear Spring, Washington. MD
William H. Kelly age 49 b. in MD, farmer, both parents born in VA
Margaret A. Kelley, wife, age 48 b. in MD, both parents born in VA
Charles E. Kelley, son, age 10 b. in MD, both parents born in VA [this
must be an error-Larry]
