Roger there is a marriage record for Upton Powell 19 March 1828 when he married Ann
Smith, and he and his wife Ann were heirs to Joseph Smith's estate in 1830. The
name connection caught my eye (Upton). That is all I turned up in my resources -
lots of Powells listed in Vol. II and III of the cemetery records.
