I am looking for the parents of Jonathan Emmert. According to his obit in
the Gospel Messenger he was born 13 Sep 1819 & verbal family history he was
born in Hagerstown, Washington, MD. At least the 1860 IL census places his
birth in MD. He would of moved from MD to IL before 1845 & married 1851 in
IL. to Lydia Hershey if that helps. I would greatly appreciate verifying
his birthplace & date and/or finding his parents.
