> Michael, I checked Morrow & Morrow's Wills of Jefferspm County, West
Virginia for those surnames and there are three Bishop listings, none of
which match; there is Elizabeth, George and Henderson. There is also a
David Small listed. None of the other surnames appear in that work. This
only means that you can check this off as a place you don't need to look. I
did not find any of the marriages you mentioned in the Morrow & Morrow
Washington County Marriages 1799-1860. There are other marriage records for
later periods.

married to Joseph Madigan. Annie and Joseph had one daughter, Winifred
Madigan, who married Sylvester Small. These are my paternal grandparents.
At some point they separated and he either died or they divorced and Annie
went to live with relatives in western Maryland, probably Hagerstown, and
work in Penmar. She eventually married William Hankey. They had two
daughters, Emma and Grace. I know that Grace eventually married Albert
Charles Magaha who was born in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Grace and
Albert had at least three daughters, Marie Magaha Lambillette, Janice Magaha
Baer, and Mary Virginia Magaha Bishop. Some time ago I had been in touch
with Mrs. Lambillette, but she could tell me very little of her grandmother,
who was Annie Farrell Madigan Hankey. If anyone has any information on any
of these people please share it with me. This is really a brick wall for
me. Any help will be appr!
