I have a Samuel Wiedner requesting a Mortgage recorded Nov. 14, 1828, between Jacob Widner of Washington Co. and the State of Maryland and Samuel Widner of Franklin Co., Pa. Jacob Widner, Widener, Wiedner was born about 1802-3 either in Washington Co. or Franklin Co. Pa. In 1834 Jacob and family went to Fairfield Co., Ohio and remained up to this date for some of the family. Jacob named his first son Samuel. Does anyone have any information about this? Jacob was a brick manufacturer in Washington Co., and in Ohio.
