Karen, there is an estate distribution in Morrow and Morrow on page 50:
"SCHLEIGH, Henry. Adm. Leonard Huber, Jacob Swope 4/14/1835; Henry,
William Amen, Jacob heirs (Mary, Isaac, Jacob, John, Gideon, Eza, Hannah
Heddeman). T $2309.69 9/18/1835
T $4597.45 Henry also served as an administrator on three other estates.

From F. Edward Wrights Marriages and Deaths from the Newspapers of
Allegany and Washington County Maryland
The Torchlight April 1, 1830
"Died last Sun night last in the 60th year of his age, John Schleigh,
Sr., innkeeper of this place."

Maryland Advocate Oct. 11, 1824 Married at Fountain Rock, near
Hagerstown, Tues 28th ult by Rev. George Lemon, William Schley, Esq.
Attorney at Law, of Frederick, to Miss Ann Cadwalader, Third dau of Gen.
Samuel Ringgold. [the general later died at their home in Frederick]
This marriage is in the marriage records 28 September 1824.

Maryland Advocate Sept. 13, 1828 Sept 6 - Died Thurs 4th inst., Mrs.
Francina Cheston Schley, consort of Frederick S. Schley, Esq., and dau
of Capt. David Lynn, Allegany Co. - Herald.
[Their marriage notice was in the Maryland Herald January 16, 1821.
They married in Cumberland January 18, 1821.]

In Morrow and Morrow's marriage index there are these Johns:
John, Jr. married Ann Maria Artz, 1 Dec. 1819
John married Catherine Louisa Mittag 15 Aug. 1839
John Ed. married Mary Virginia Towner 21 Oct. 1844

I don't know if you are dealing with two different families or not.
