I'm glad you replied because it lets me correct my last posting.

I was wrong when I said:

I had it reversed... The Jacob Rohrer (1741-1804) descendants are the ones who migrated to Logan County, KY.

The Jessamine County Rohrers (who for some reason changed the name to Rhorer) are descended from a Samuel Rohrer (d. 1788) of Wash Co., MD.

You can find Samuel's will online at: http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/md/washington/wills/rohrer-s.txt. Notice that one of the witnesses was Christopher Ansberger.
