On the Washington County plat map, here: http://midatlantic.rootsweb.com/MD/washington/plats/map.html , you'll find the tracts,

#39 - Skiethorn, Thomas Cresap, 370ac, 14 Jun 1739 at K-19 (immediately west of Ft. Fredrick)
#95 - Indian Bottom, John Boyd, 51ac, 2 Nov 1739 at K-22 (east of Ft. Frederick)

I don't see a Johnsons Lot.

Mike

In 18th Century Washington County, Maryland the following family held
parts of tracts, SkyThorn and Johnsons Lot placing them near Fort
Frederick. Thomas Ford, the father, also held the tract Upper Indian
Bottom. I am interested in the location of this tract.

I am particularly interested in the identity of the wife of Thomas Ford,
the father of the following James Ford.

-------------------------------------

James Ford - an adult by 1786. Washington County will dated 24 Sep 1800
and probated 19 Sep 1801; was the son of Thomas Ford.

James Ford who died 1800 was married to Sarah.

Children of James and Sarah Ford were:

James Ford who owned part of tract Johnsons Lot and part of Sky Thorn at
death. James was married to Christena and died before October 1813.
According to the settlement of his father's estate, James and Christena
had no children.

Thomas Ford who died in 1807 and did not marry. According to the
settlement of his father's estate, Thomas Ford had no children.

Joseph Ford who became the predominant individual seeking the settlement
of his father's estate through a Washington Co., Maryland board.

Freelove Ford who died Sep 1800. Freelove had married probably before
1791to John Jack and this couple had sons, Jeremiah and John Jack.
Henry Otto, the children's maternal uncle became their guardian.

Isabell Ford who married Henry Otto before 24 Sep 1800.

Easter Ford who married Daniel Harlin before 24 Sep 1800.

Hannah Ford who married Henry Hough or Henry Houck 1801-1813.

Mary Ford who married Ellis Ellis 1801-1813

Sarah Ford who married William Blackmore 1801 to 1813.
