Mary Lou,
I have Andrew Rench's wife as Elizabeth Price (1739-1812), whom he married in 1760. My 3rd gr grandmother's sister, Elizabeth Rohrer md. Andrew's son, Daniel Rench, and became the mother of another Andrew Rench (1799 - 1883), who is covered rather extensively by Scharf in his "History of Western Maryland" and later by Williams in his "History of Washington County, Maryland."
The Rohrer and Hogmire properties were near each other (perhaps adjacent), near the Antietam east and south of Hagerstown.
I have some other info. If you'd like to pursue, feel free to write directly.
Regards,
Mike Rohrer
