Did you perhaps send your subscribe request as a reply instead of a new
email? That won't work. You may have been told to send a NEW email--not a new
email account.

To subscribe to the BOYER list send a new email (not a reply to an old
email) to: and put only the word SUBSCRIBE in the
subject and message body. If you prefer digest, send the request to:
instead.

The same instructions apply to subscribe to any RootsWeb list, only replace
the name of the list with the actual list name you want to subscribe to.
