There aren't many Suters in the records I have:
From the marriage index (1799-1860):

the newspaper announcement]

SUTER, Cath. M./GEIGHT, John 5/11/1858

A house occupied by a Peter SUTER was for sale in Hagerstown in Nov.
1800. There is only one entry of a Suter in the estate distributions (
1778-1835). Jacob Suter and wife were listed as heirs to Henry KREAGER
in 1833.
