For those who have connections between Washington Co. MD and Ogle Co. IL:

From the Middletown Valley Register Dec. 11, 1896

Mrs. Allen Bebee, aged 92, a native of Sharpsburg, a few days ago fell down a pair of steps at the home of her son, Mr. John L. Smith, at Leaf River, IL, and was killed.
