I'm answering your question on the list in case the topic is of interest to
others...but I'll first say that asking a list filled with mostly hobby
genealogists probably isn't going to get you a knowledgeable answer to your
question as you would need to hear from people who are professional genealogists.
this isn't a discussion we'd want to get into on this list anyway.

Most professional genealogists belong to the Assoc. of Professional
Genealogists and the APG has a RootsWeb mailing list you should consider
joining--and/or reading up on prior posts to the list in the archives. You can obtain
