Art, I have to 2 documents regarding John Miller, b1762, and his son
John Miller, b 1786.
These Miller familys lived in the Boonsboro and Beaver Creek area. They
are research documents prepared by a genealogical researcher and I
found them in the Miller file at the Western Maryland room at the WC
Library. They detail the two Miller familys and are about 1 Meg each. I
can email them directly to you if you want them.

In 1789, they sold 50 acre Rocky Ridge originally granted to John Miller in 1749 as part of tract Resurvey of Plunk's Doubt. Then, there was a Frederick Co. 1765 deed wherein Henry Snavely sold to Jacob Miller a 31 acre tract called Resurvey of Plunk's Doubt.

I do find an Abraham Miller son of Christian Miller who died 1781 in Washington Co. Could this be the same Abraham with a brother John, perhaps? I don't know of any Jacob Miller's in Washington Co. (Frederick Co. then) at that time. Any idenity for the Christian Miller who died 1781? He had a brother named David Miller.
