Another contribution to the "John Miller"s:

Jacob Fridrich Miller m. Julianna
Children, born in Middletown, Maryland:
Christina Miller b. February 28, 1790
Johan Frederick Miller b. March 20, 1792
John Jacob Miller b. March 6, 1795
Anna Maria Miller, b. June 1, 1783
Magdalena Miller, b. April 27, 1788, m. John Kefauver December 18, 1807

The sons of Magdalena Miller and John Kefauver came to Fulton Co., IL. One
records going to "Uncle John Miller's farm" on arriving. I'm not certain
whether "Uncle John" is John Jacob Miller or Johan Frederick Miller.

Art, are these in your Millers?

Trying to sort out the many Millers in northern Maryland in 1700's.
Does anyone know anything about an Abraham Miller and John Miller who were
shown in Washington Co.on tracts Rocky Ridge and Blunk's (Plunk's?) Doubt in
1783? In 1789, they sold 50 acre Rocky Ridge originally granted to John
Miller in 1749 as part of tract Resurvey of Plunk's Doubt. Then, there was
a Frederick Co. 1765 deed wherein Henry Snavely sold to Jacob Miller a 31
acre tract called Resurvey of Plunk's Doubt.

The only John Miller that I find at that time in Washington Co. was John
Peter Miller son of Michael Miller. I don't think this John is him. I do
find an Abraham Miller son of Christian Miller who died 1781 in Washington
Co. Could this be the same Abraham with a brother John, perhaps? I don't
know of any Jacob Miller's in Washington Co. (Frederick Co. then) at that
time. Any idenity for the Christian Miller who died 1781? He had a
brother named David Miller.
Any help in identifying these Millers would be appreciated.
