This couple shows up in the marriage index as
SIMPSON, Eph./Tracey ROHRER 12/22/1847

In the Will Index only one shows up:
SAMSEL, Jac. f 1849 (there is an estate document, but not a will)

There is nothing in estate distributions.

There are marriages for these two grooms in the Records of the Ev.
Reformed Church in Frederick, MD:
Johannes SAMSELL and Catharina BOTT Dec. 1, 1795 in the Ev. Reformed
Church in Frederick, MD
Peter SAMSELL and Marg. GILASPIE, Aug. 17, 1800 in the bride's
father's home.
Incidentally, these do not show up in the marriage license index for
Frederick Co.

Not too many instances of the name - can't find anything in the
newspaper extraction volumes I have.
