Eden, a supporting document may be an accounting of an estate sale or
something else pertaining to the settlement of the estate such as an
inventory of assets. Even if you didn't make a will, your estate has to
be settled according to the laws of the state you live in. If there
were children it could be minutes of proceedings of orphan's court or
guardian accounts. Also records of executor's bonds and that sort of
thing are possible. They may have information that is helpful to you.
