I believe I found your Jacob Hoover in 1860 in Wolfsville (only a few miles
from Cavetown). The year of birth is a little different. Jacob Hoover age
55 was a blacksmith, his wife is elizabeth age 46 and his children are
Eliza, Catharine, Rebecca, Benny, William and Daniel age 19-8. If you are
interested - email me and I will email you the copy of the census.

My brick wall is Jacob HOOVER, born about 1797 in Frederick, MD. He
married
Elizabeth HARSHMAN on 9 January 1820 in Frederick, MD. They had the
following children. I believe that all the children were born in Cavetown,

Washington County, MD.

Elias HOOVER, born 22 Sep 1820.
Susan HOOVER, born ????.
Elizabeth HOOVER, born 14 April 1828.
Eliza HOOVER, born 1831.
Mary Catherine HOOVER, born 25 March 1832.
Henry HOOVER, born 1833.
Benjamin HOOVER, born 1834.
Daniel HOOVER, born 13 August 1841.
William HOOVER, born ????.
Ann Rebecca HOOVER, born 26 September 1834-1836.

There may be two more children who died young.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
