Jason, I do have some information about Thomas Poffenberger and Mary Ann
Thomas. Mostly this is from the History of Washington Co. Maryland Vol.
II. The father of Lawson W. Poffenberger is listed in the history as
John Poffenberger and Nancy Miller. This Lawson was born in 1831 in
Washington Co. to John and Nancy Miller Poffenberger, but not to Thomas
and Mary Ann Poffenberger. I also have information about his brother,
George, and that information tells more about John and his two wives,
and their children. I can write you more about that family, but I am
heading out the door at the moment.

Some of the children you list as Thomas' also may be in the history as
children of John and Nancy. Let me send you that stuff in a few hours.
Some of the children of John and Nancy end up in Iowa and Illinois, I
believe. Is this close to other information you have?

I have used your research before, and I know that many of the lines you
do are also on my history, so I want both of us to be accurate! I have
Thomas' on my distant lines, but not Mary Ann so far.
