Hi,
I have found Jacob WIDENER 1830 census, age 28, wife 24, 1 son age 2 yr. Living in District 4 in the census. Could you give me more information on just where that is located in Washington Co.,Md. think it is near Hagerstown. He was a brick maker who in 1834 with his family moved to Fairfield Co., Ohio where he continued his profession. The name is spelled WIDENER, WEIDNER, WIDNER and not too common in that area. His wife Mary Ann BEARD was a member of the Methodist church, and had been born near Harpers Ferry on the Md. side, they married in 1826. Still seeking who were his parents as well as hers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. He was great at making Brick walls, the families are still seeking away around or over this one!!!!
