Does anyone out there have access to some census records for 1800-1840 for Washington co., MD.
I am searching for information on a line of Grosh's that I am researching.
I have a Henry or Henrich Gross or Grosh, that was married to Elizabeth Ranck in 1797. The couple was married in Lancaster co., PA. But I know that couple, was somehow connected to Washington co., MD because a son of theirs, George Washington Grosh, b. 1806, was an apprentice Shoemaker in Maryland in 1820's. And was working with a Henry Grosh JR, who I believe was his father. Any tips or leads would be most appriciated.
I have this on the couples children:
John Henry Grosh, b. 1803 in PA d. 1809 in PA (per Trinity Luthern Church records, in Lancaster co)
Sarah Grosh, b. 1804
George Washinton Grosh, b. 1806 in PA, married Catherine Fisher - both died in Clearspring Dist, Wa. co, MD
Joseph William Grosh, b. 1809, d. 1811
Ottilla Susanne Grosh, b. 1810, supposedly married a Kuhn, d. 1892 Franklin co., PA
Anna Maria Grosh, b. 1812
Henry Ludwig Grosh, b. 1814
Aron Grosh, b. 1818
Samuel Grosh, b. 1821 d. 1821
Thanks for your time
