Roger ... Your Henry Funk is probably the son of a Henry or Jacob Funk (brothers) who founded the town of Funkstown in Maryland (Washington County) ... I don't remember all of the details, but if you GOOGLE Funkstown they have a historical site that has it all ... I grew up next door to the Funk house built in 1769, its now a National Historical building or such ...
