Patty, you are correct. There are lots of land records at that site. Unfortunately, all of the Washington County records are currently unavailable. The last email I had from the archivist indicated that they would be put back on, she just didn't know when. She c.c. the email to her superiors so she must have been getting a few complaints about the records being pulled.

There are many land records for Maryland on this sight. You have to register
but it is free.
