I have just begun to search for my WHITE ancestors who resided in Parsonsburg/Wicomico County, MD. I found out info through Roots in the 1880 U.S. Census for the Parsons District. My great grandfather was Danel H. (b1862or 3). His parents were Minos (b.1834 or 5) & Mary A. (b.1844 or 5). Their other children were: Minos H., Clayton J., Ebenezar, James I, Mary H, and Laird T.
I hope that this info might help you with your search.
Since I can only trace back to Minos (1834) I would appreciate if you happen to see his name in any of your searches.
