Message Board Post:

Searching for information regarding the deaths of David Weeks and his 2nd wife Sarah Tooley Weeks. I don't have a great deal of information but for David, he last appears in the 1910 Mt. Vernon, Somerset County census with his 2nd wife Sarah (Tooley) Weeks. At that time he would have been abt 55 years old. While that is young, I cannot locate him in the 1920 census, which makes me think he died sometime between 1910 and 1920 presumably in the Mount Vernon or Wicomico County areas. David is my great-grandfather and I would be very grateful to find any information related to him and most especially would like to find his death information.

With regard to Sarah Tooley (Tooley is a married name from her first marriage - I do not know her maiden name), she does appear in the 1920 Census but in Salisbury Township in Wicomico County. I cannot locate her in the 1930 census, again presuming she died between 1920 and 1930, likely in the Wicomico County area. Although, I have no direct relationship to Sarah, I would like to find any information regarding her. I do know that she had a daughter, Ethel, from a prior marriage to Mr. Tooley. Ethel married Oscar Cleveland Heath in 1910 and in 1912, they had a daughter, Hilda. Oscar died in 1958, but I have no further information on this part of the family.

If there is anyone who can shed any light on this family, I would greatly appreciate it. Again, I am primarily interested in information on my great-grandfather, but would welcome any help at all. I thank you very much for your time.

This query has also been posted on the Somerset County board in case there is a possibility my grandfather lived or died in that county.
