My Purnell Johnson b est. 1700 & d. est 1777. I have a note passed on to
me by Judy Marshall Stell "Purnell died about 1777. He married Joanna Byrd.
Living in 1743,named in his fathers will. (dod and marriage-notes of Vernon
L.Skinner)" I looks like you are about one generation away from my Purnell
Johnson but strange things happen. I do have his mother's (Purnell) line
back to 1520 when you comfortably make the connection. Let me know if you
make the connection. Bill
