I was born and raised in Worcester and I can certainly pronounce it. I
don't walk on water (and I certainly don't go around calling people "slug").
However, stupidity among genealogists bothers me, especially when so many
people already look down on us as "amateur" (very amateur) historians.
If you can't spell, especially if the spelling is laid out right in front
of you, why should anyone trust the results of your research?
