Hi, am looking for information on this Purnell Brittingham bc 1789, he is the son of Elijah and Elizabeth Brittingham of Wor.Co. Md. He was apprenticed to Benjamin Gunby on Aug 23, 1803 Wor. Orphans Ct. Proc 1802/02: 207.....I have found three marriages with the name Purnell in a relative timeframe. Purnell mar Nancy Biship Feb 3, 1807, Purnell mar Mary Masy/Massey Feb 3, 1817, and Purnell mar Esther S. Lambden Oct. 20, 1826, I just don't know who's Purnell is whose.....which Brittingham family did these Purnells come from. He may have left the area, and by ruling out these marriages, I can then go on to look for him.

My second quest is Airy E. Brittigham, dau of Nathaniel and Tabitha (Jones) Brittingham, bc 1847, she appears to have left Wor. Co. and was known to be living in Phila, PA. But no luck finding her or possibly her parents there eitherl. Nathaniel and Tabitha left Wor. Co. and he died before his father, have looked in Pa but to no avail.

Any help on these two lost Brittinghams would be greatly appreciated...
