Sallie, I am very interested in your post to the Worcester County Web site, done 4AUG2001, which refers to John Selby, Mary Ellen Payne, Mary Selby William E. C. Selby and Sallie F. Pruitt. I am a descendant of the Payne family, the Payne's and Jones's were all connected to the Pruitts and to the Selby's in Worcester County of Maryland which is very close to Saxis, VA. I am confidant that I can connect your names in my research should you supply me with a couple of dates, especially those of Mary Ellen Payne and Sallie F. Pruitt. If William E. C. Pruitt lived in Pocomoke, MD I should be able to locate his lines, can you offer me the names of his children? I hope I will be of some help to you and I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
