I have found a Sarah Scarborough married to a Rives Townsend in Worcester Co., Maryland. Do you have any information on this union and their issue? They married about 1795 in Worcester Co. We have two Henry Rives Townsend offspring in the family that would indicate a possible connection to this couple. I am tracing Townsends in Maryland that went to NE Missouri in the 1830's. Allied families to Townsend - Smack, Morris, Hottel, McDaniel.
