With all the helpful replies that have been posted, I have located the Burbage Cemetery near Powellville on Timmons Road. My grandmother, Martha E. Parsons Whittingon is buried there and her marker is also engraved "wife of John R. Whittington." Now I need to find John's grave.

John died in 1945 in Berlin, Md. and his death certificate and obit both say he is also buried in the Burbage Cemetery near Powellville. But, there is no stone there for him - he may be in an unmarked grave. Does anyone know if John is buried there or have suggestions how I could determine the exact location of his grave?
