Hi, I am in this Hudson line also. I don't have much on John Hudson but here is what I have I hope it helps.
John's parents were Sameul Hudson and Lesse ?
John b. 1780. Occupation: cordwainer. He married Sarah Crafford Oct 10. 1802 in Worcester Co, MD.
I'm sorry but that is all I have untill I search my papers again.
