Kim, Perhaps you already know that Henry Spear patented land (50 acres) in Worcester Co. in 1761: "Spears Adventure." Seven years later (resurvey): "Addition to Spears Adventure" (252 acres). Henry dies in 1771 and leaves an informative will. The land was apparently on the border with Sussex Co., DE.
