I have just joined this list after finding my GGGrandmother Hetty Purnell in
the 1870 census with her children in Worcester Co. She is 53, born approx.
1817. Her children listed as living with her are:

Sallie 25, born about 1844
William 20, born about 1849
Augustus (aka. Albert) 17, born about 1852 (my GGrandfather)
Catherine 15, born about 1855
George W. 5, born about 1865

I do not know who she married but I do know that he was born in England.
Also Hetty was born in Scotland. If anyone has any information tying into
my family line I would be most excited to receive it! Thank you for reading
