I'm sorry I don't have information on your great-grandmother, but I just discovered in notes I recently received from an old family album, a reference to Sallie Fasett, daughter of Elisha and Kate McCabe. The notes don't say much, just names of siblings and children, but I thought there might be a chance it connects to your family, as many of my ancestors lived in Worcester Co., some in Newark, some near Berlin. The notes don't give Sallie's husband's name. My relative who made the notes may not have known how to spell the surname. From the 1880 census, Sallie was born about 1877.

If you think Sallie is part of your family, and you need her siblings' or children's names, I will share what little information I have. I am looking for the names of Kate (Murray) McCabe's parents, so if Sallie connects with your family, please let me know if you ever run across that information. Thank you.
