Who are the parents of Abijah Davis and Catharine Poynter/Pointer, both born abt. 1775? Abijah married Catharine Poynter/Pointer 4 Jan. 1796 in St. Martin's Parish. They had 2 daughters and 2 sons born in Maryland and are in the 1810 U.S. Census for Worcester Co. MD. They are in the 1820 U.S. Census for Woodford Co. KY and the 1830 U.S. Census for Jefferson Co. IN. Three of Abijah and Catharine's children are named Sarah, Joshua, Thomas. Joshua and Thomas had sons named Elias. Thomas named one of his sons Thomas Marshall Davis.
