first it helps a lot to give the county, some of us aren't familiar with the
states we do lookups in so have to search for a county first.
I picked Farmington county, there were 10 other Thomas Rigers in ME 1850, oh
and you didn't name a year to do the lookup in so I picked 1850 since it is
the first census to name persons by names.
