I am looking again for any mention in the 1870 Census of an Elizabeth
(Lizzie) Gilmore Coffin, born In Ireland, and about 42, divorced. There
should be or ought to be a son John W. Coffin, born Me. 1849 and about 20;
and there should be maybe a daughter Elizabeth born about 1857, about 13,
and born in Maine.
They are in the 1860 Census when she was married; she is in the 1880 and
probably in the 1890 Census (she died in 1892). This would be in
Cumberland County, town of Freeport. She was there in the 1870 census
living with her mother; maybe they moved to another town for that census.
She was difficult to trace. Thank you. NCLibby
