Hi Norman;
In the 1820 Index, the only Thomas Tripp in Maine is in Alfred,
York County, p. 559.
In the 1850 Census, Microfilm 262, Porter, Oxford County, Line 18,
dwelling 23, family 23, Thomas Tripp, Jr, 44, male, Mason
Susan Tripp 39 Female, Mariba Tripp, 18 Female. All born in ME.
There are more in the family, but given the dates you mention, this
probably is not the right family. It is the only Thomas who has a wife Susan.
Best wishes,
Dana Edgecomb
