Hi Marie;
There is no James Turner in Bath in the 1850 census. There are 12
James Turners in other towns. I looked through, and found 2 born in
Ireland. Maybe one of these is the one you are looking for:

Ellsworth, Hancock County, p. 328A, Microfilm 255, Line 19
James Turner, age 17, male, Laborer, born Ireland, in
Dwellint 469 Family 524. Richard Perkins was the head of
household for this family, age 24, laborer, Real Estate worth $400,
born Maine.

p. 331A Also Ellsworth, Hancock County, Dwelling 501, family 559
James Turner, age 75, Farmer, Real Estate worth $400, born Ireland

Bath is in Lincoln County.
Best wishes,
Dana Edgecomb
